The Highridge 2026 Scholarhip Competition launches on 3 January, giving students five weeks to enter and the opportunity to win a full or partial scholarship to one of our enriching summer programmes.

All entries will be reviewed by the Highridge academic panel.

Who can apply?
Students aged 12–18 from any country can apply.
Do I need an advanced level of English?
No. All English levels are welcome.
We are looking at your ideas and thinking, not perfect grammar.
How long should the essay be?
Minimum: 500 words
Maximum: 750 words
Essays outside this range may not be accepted.
What is the essay about?
You will be asked to write on a set theme related to education, global ideas, or your future.
You can include personal experiences, opinions, and creative ideas.
What does the scholarship cover?
Scholarships contribute toward the tuition fees,
accommodation, activities and meals. Personal expenses, insurance, transfers and flights are not included unless stated.
How do I submit my essay?
You submit your essay online through the Highridge Essay Competition form on this page.
Can I submit more than one essay?
No. Only one entry per student is allowed.
